Consumers residing in Switzerland, the Principality of Liechtenstein, Germany or Austria have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days without giving reasons.
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unambiguous declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form , which is, however, not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choosing a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal from this contract.
For this refund we use the same payment method you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged fees for this refund.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the 14-day period expires.
Return costs
Returns are free of charge for you. We bear the costs of the return. Contact us before returning the goods (info@bear-chair.ch or +41 79 605 51 88); we will provide a prepared return label. If you have already paid for the return yourself, we will refund the costs against a payment receipt. For goods assembled by us, Art. 9.6 of the Terms and Conditions applies; there you bear the costs of the return transport.
Loss in value
You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss is attributable to handling that was not necessary to inspect the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. A normal examination of the furniture (unpacking, briefly sitting on it, checking its condition) causes no loss in value.
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not exist for contracts
- for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and whose manufacture is substantially determined by an individual selection or specification by the buyer, or that are clearly tailored to the buyer's personal needs (e.g. custom sizes, individual stains, custom logos);
- for the delivery of sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, if their seal has been removed after delivery.
Standard furniture from the Bear Chair range (e.g. Adirondack Chair Original, Royal Bear Chair, sets from the online shop) is not excluded from the right of withdrawal.
Note on self-assembly
Bear Chair furniture is delivered as kits and is fundamentally designed for self-assembly by the buyer. You can exercise the right of withdrawal even if you have already assembled the furniture. A return in disassembled form is possible; however, we ask you to contact us beforehand to clarify the shipping logistics.
