Bear Chair Adirondack Chairs

The Bear Chair is the classic Adirondack and Muskoka chair as a single seat, available in Switzerland directly from the original manufacturer, The Bear Chair Company of South River, Ontario.

The base material is Canadian Western Red Cedar: a naturally weatherproof wood that withstands sun, rain and Swiss winters without any impregnation. The blanks are cut and joined by hand in Canada, and all timber is genuine Ontario Wood. The adult models weigh around 12 kg.

Nine models cover the key buying decisions. The Original and the Classic are our most popular models, the timeless Bear Chair without compromise. The Grizzly offers a taller backrest and a larger seat for taller people, while the Recliner adjusts to three positions. The Royal and the Folding fold flat for storage, and the Hybrid offers a more upright seating position, suitable for the dining table as well.
